Interesting letter in todays SCMP to the editor.

The writer made a comparison with pilots, MTR drivers, and one other which I can't recall.

His point was that the aircraft are now automated and that flying the aircraft was something pilots did when aircraft were not as high tech as they are now.

Stress levels were compared and deemed by the writer as being similar.

Please don't mind if I have not got the exact facts, I tried finding the online letter but could not find it to share, if any of you have it please post it as it is an interesting perspective, but, no doubt our pilot friends will disagree.
