The hotel is part of the IDS Centre, so is connected to the Skyway and the large department stores on Nicollet Mall - it's only a 5minute walk from the Airport tram line (Nicollet or Government Centre) stations, and a 5-10 minute walk to the Target Centre and Target Field.

Had already used OLCI and been upgraded to a King Executive - the EL was closed as it was Labor Day weekend and the hotel was only at 30% occupancy - was offered breakfast vouchers in lieu of this but had to request complientary drinks vouchers (1pp) for the bar.

King Exec room was very spacious, even with a chair lounger and large desk, and had a large window view across the Minneapolis skyline - had a good size bathroom with a large walk in shower but no bath - free internet access was provided in the room, but no other DIA amenities. Room decor was a little tired and dated, as was the rest of the hotel's public spaces.

Hotel had a small gym on the 5th floor (6 cardios and a few weight machines / free weights), and the in room hotel guide stated that guests could also use the Y as earlier posters mentioned.

With no EL, the breakfast was on the 3rd floor and the voucher covered an American Breakfast (no buffet available) or equivalent in individual sides - this didn't cover much at all and IMO wasn't near equivalent to an EL buffet - complained about the excess charge at checkout and had it reversed after it had to be referred to the hotel manager.

Overall, very conveniently located hotel but underwhelmed with the overall experience - will try another hotel next time I'm in MSP
