I was in F. I am on a RTW F on One World.
The gentleman were very nice. Since my
flight was delayed out of LAX I was just
happy to get on the plane and get seated. I
did not think about in the cockpit for
takeoff. For that matter I did not even
think about it until I read your post. I am
in the Wing Lounge for CX in HKG now. About
to board a flight for TPE in F on a 747. I
am going to ask the Purser if the takeoff is
possibe in the cockpit. Will advise. I
think the right tone with cockpit crews makes
all of the difference. I was quick to note
the Aus. accent for the captain. Asked about
his family. It was great. Got two cards and
a invitation from backup pilot for a night in
HKG the next time I am at the Shangri-La. It
could not have been a better experience. The
Wing Lounge is unbelievable. It is open air.
I just booked spa treatments for my return
via HKG to SYD. Book in advance. Today they
are already commited. Good flying.
