you are correct...method of payment does not matter - if they walk you you are entitled to the "no walk guarantee" benefits as a platinum that is 2 free nights anywhere in the world, plus $200 in cash ($100 is for select service/extended stay hotels).....and the room is FREE - you will not need to redeem any points for your stay as the Renaissance would be paying for a comparable room (Courtyard do have suites - just not a lot of them and most dont have anything like a Presidental Suite etc...CY suites are pretty standard in terms of suites)

NOTE: I misread the title..thought it was a Renaissance not a Residence Inn - the cash payment is only $100
