These are the same databases that decided I was over 55 because my (over 55) parents put me as beneficiary on their bank account and triggered sending me solicitations to move to retirement communities when I was in my early 20s. And the same databases that managed to mangle 3 of my former addresses into a single franker-address. Seriously.
These databases are riddled with errors. Not too much of a problem when they're being used for marketing. Big problem when they are being used to control a citizen's ability to travel.
