CO's website doesn't show the partners locator (like united.com does).
ALWAYS when booking a partner award from CO, wait 24 hours and call the partner carrier. Give them last name, date and flight number and get THEIR locator, then ask if they show it ticketed and ask them to send you a copy of the e-ticket receipt from THEIR system. (or if they can't generate an e-ticket reciept as it's CO issued ticket ask for a faxed or PDF's full itin showing the ticket number on it)
I've done this loads of times and caught twice when CO had NOT properly handed info to the partner carrier. CO cancelled the award and re-issued and it then worked out fine.
