Stayed there last night and they seem to be making an effort with HHonors members. We were upgraded to a Deluxe Plus and for the first time in ages my status was mentioned at check in and I was thanked for having stayed at the hotel 16 times.

Again most unusually the room had wine, water and fruit provided and robes. Whenever we have checked before we were told that if we were given an upgrade we wouldn't receive any type of amenity.

There was also a letter in the room dated September 2011 outlining the benefits available to elites.

Maybe things are improving here?
