Just ticketed C class award seats with them for mid December, they told me that I could have seats assigned after Sept 11. Might be an issue of them loading winter schedules, aircraft assignments etc around that date. I'll see next week and report back
I live in Singapore. Having an award redemption ticket on TK (using SQ Krisflyer miles) on 11Nov IST -> BKK on J Class. I called TK office in Singapore, she could assign the seat for me & my wife straight away. Now on seats 2A & 2B.
After that, I tried to do another dummy booking on TK website on same flight, I go to the Seat Selection (at the last step of the booking process), it already shows 2A & 2B are "Occupied". Meaning that my seat allocation was done.
I guess you can ring them again to try..?
