Yes, I have done it a couple of times. Before you fly the first sector, you can do it online to get the 15% discount. After you fly the first leg, it is no longer upgradeable online. You have to call in and insist on the discount.

Btw, I did these upgrades using the old website. Not so sure about the notorious new website,
