Stayed here 8/26 on a points reward. It was a Friday evening when we checked in so it was predictably crazy. We waited 30 minutes in one of the regular lines after reading conflicting reports on whether a Gold Elite could use the Invited Guests line.

When we checked in, I asked whether or not an upgrade was available to me as a Gold Elite. I was told no, that only Platinum Elite are given upgrades. When I asked about breakfast I was given the same line. Later that evening I called back down to the desk and talked to a different agent who said that we were entitled to breakfast and to just go ahead and eat at the Wicked Spoon. However, the cost was never taken off our bill. I've been fighting with them ever since about this; they maintain that only a Platinum Elite gets free breakfast and so I have to eat the $63 cost.

As to the room, we had a Terrace Studio on the 21st floor of the West Tower with no particular view at all.
