If I am not crazy about my booking, and I look to see if there is anything available closer to the travel date, there is usually nothing for 100k miles.
My DM friend just booked 3 Affaires seats on AF LAX-CDG non-stop for the low level. Although January is probably not a popular time to go to Paris.
