So I just found out that Mrs. Estcoast1 lost her DL somewhere in between PIT-LAX on a trip out to visit me at work. At any rate, she's going to need to use the return portion of her ticket next week and in the interim board a LAX-SFO flight tomorrow morning.

I've read a few posts but a lot of it is dated. I'm also worried that we're more likely to be SOL with any 9/11 exhancements over the weekend.

From what I've read, the fact that I have proper ID and we're on the same itinerary with the same last names should help. She also has all her usual wallet contents...

It seems to be a very grey area and vary with airport so any general or LAX specific suggestions would help greatly.

At this point I'm just thinking show up 3 hours early and deal with whatever we have to.
