Thanks to all for the info. I agree that one certainly pays for some extra perks when purchasing an upper class ticket, but I didn't want to offend anyone by not tipping if tips are a big part of their income. If a big tip was expected, I was just going to skip the whole thing. I never get massages, so I don't know if it is the norm ANYWHERE...and I have cut my own hair for about 30 years.
