The current charge on excess baggage is 1.5% of the highest Economy single fare on that route. My aunt had to pay for 4 kilos, and at more than 20$ per kilo it was more than $100 for 4 kilos!

So I think the baggage thing is definately a good offer.

Big question is, will they not waive the usual first 10kg if you're using the award? If not, it's not worth the miles, better save it up for their heavenly First Class
