Yes, I like that too as I like to gaze out at incoming planes, and it creates an open atmosphere. If they installed full covered glass, the lounge would feel very secluded.
Let's chill people. It's an airport, it's going to have noise. If you want absolute silence buy a nice noise-cancellation headphones.
