We ate at Ki's in Cardiff-by-the-Sea while at Aviara last weekend. Nice selection of food and nice view of the ocean. About 15 minutes from the hotel via the 101; might be a bit quicker via I-5.

Re the hotel, this was our first stay at Aviara since conversion from Four Season's. I saw no real difference and we had a very enjoyable stay.
