Yep, what took them so long - in the business class lounge of the Wing. Yet to see any desktops in the First Class section -what are all those useless books on the shelves in the FC library anyway ? Take for example Air NZ DOMESTIC lounge two years back, copiers, four internet computers, laser printers, sit down work areas, local call access, mobile phone battery charges to fit ANY connector. Trouble is that in oneworld shared lounges there is often little attention given to the needs of their lifeblood, the business traveller. As an example at LAX shared FCL Qantas BA lounge that CX uses, there is just one phone socket for the whole lounge that people can make local calls for free on and this is what you have to use to get internet roaming so everyone queues up(and one sit down loo for the whole floor of lounges, and no shower, hey but that's USA).
I posted a year back that all oneworld lounges should be standardised, a copier, internet connection online with
www.readmail.com available, desk level RJ11 phone sockets and power supply so you do not have to grovel on the ground looking for a socket, local call access, etc.
