Reading all of the criticism of AF on here, at all levels of travel, and the general moans about service, I am bothered about what we are going to get, sounds like poor seats, rotten food and surly service !

Otherwise I agree with others, sort of. Overall Air France longhaul J is not bad. But: it's by no means as good as many other airlines (seat, service, food, lounges, FFP credit...)
Thus: noone will tell you to not fly AF. We just tell you that you'll probably have a better experience elsewhere. Especially if you're flying to Hong Kong.
