Pity your crew was not up to standard either. On that side of things I have been very lucky, but BA crews do tend to be a hit-or-miss this days, and it should not be so! They did a fairly good job with my steak

I did see people get bread in the CR, perhaps like most of the rest of the operation you have to ask rather than being offered.
My steak was really gross and tasted like it was stewed rather than grilled.
