Chek Lap Kok, I think this kind of innuendo has no place in here. I too happen to agree with Guy Betsy that AsiaMiles (and Passages before that) has the most inane redemption procedures. And if you've read GB's comments in other threads, he is all praises for CX's inflight services.

CX's excellent reputation is somewhat diminished in my opinion by the convuleted setup that is AsiaMiles on one hand and Marco Polo Club on the other. It's almost as if CX treats frequent flyer programs with disdain, and by extension, frequent flyers and the benefits they deserve as a necessary evil instead of a great marketing tool.

[Which reminds me, I used to laugh when reading the letters section of CX's monthly magazione for frequent flyers. They would go at all lengths and use all kinds of polite language to shoot down ALL (I mean ALL) suggestions coming CX customers. Why do they even bother to print those letters and specially the answers.]

Having said all that, CX is still my favorite airline!
