Why would it be a disorder? I rip out the ads, too, when I fly. It makes perfect sense to me. Some of those glossies like Vanity Fair are more than 1/2 ads. Tossing them makes the magazine lighter and thinner (taking up less legroom in the seatpocket and easier to stick into a flat pocket on a carryon) and--maybe best of all--the magazine contains only reading matter, not a bunch of annoying photos of overpriced stuff being peddled. Not to mention eliminating those smelly perfume ads.
