I got the Chase BA card under my name approx 1.5yrs ago and have earned a certificate last year and already this year. Right now, I have 177k BA miles in my account and I was planning to transfer another 100k thru the Chase Sapphire Preferred card which both myself and my wife will be soon getting in the next week or so. So, by the end of the year, I should over 277k BA miles in my acct. The BA Exec account is in my name only.

I was planning on using those miles and the free certificate to send my wife and daughter on BA F DFW-BOM-DFW approx Summer 2013. Now, it just hit me that only I can use the certificate and I must be travelling. Basically, the certificates will go to waste.

What should I do? I have more than enough time to start another strategy and have the upcoming expenses to accumulate more miles, but I would appreciate any helpful advice that you guys might have.
