I wanted to clarify something....

Marco Polo Club, like many in Asia, is a loyalty program. The "miles" you earn go on the counter for elite status, but you can't get awards for them. You have to get them put into a miles program, such as Asia Miles.

So could I have my CX miles "clock" for elite Marco Polo Club status, but put the real miles into my AAdvantage account? I'd guess the answer is yes. If yes, those miles would count for AA elite status, right?

So the miles from a single flight will count on two "clocks": Marco Polo and AAdvantage Elite (in this example) right?
