I had a 73x with no IFE on a flight in F from PTY to EWR, so I'm afraid that isn't the case.
That said, Direct TV is pretty marginal IMO. The movie selection is limited and not on-demand and the rest of the stuff is to the usual American standard. Thankfully as this is for your honeymoon you probably won't be bored of talking to your new wife yet
(Beware of name changes by the way - not sure what the current advice is, but plenty of people seem to have issues with tickets & passports not matching on their honeymoon.)
