It's in the main hall - quite near to the Lufthansa/Swiss ticket counter.
So leaving Terminal A and going to the counter should take not more than 5 mins. Can't tell you anyting about the procedure at this desk so far.
After this you have to go back to security (but DUS is nice and it will not take so much time for the ORD-ride)
