I have seen a number of items indicating that the new Citi American Airlines Executive / AAdvantage World Elite MasterCard will get the European style EMV chip system sometime "later this year." Does anyone have any idea what date? Has anyone gotten one yet? We are going to get the Citi Executive / AAdvantage WEMC because DFW is pretty solidly AA, but might hold off a month or two to get the EMV version of the card.
