Although Porter usually has sales every week or every other week; their promotional discounts are seldom more than 30%. You can get the discount by booking oneline.
Westjet and Air Canada have matching sales with a discount of 50%.
The caveat: their sales apply to Quebec City; not Montreal! So you could fly to Quebec City, and drive down to Montreal.
