It certainly was. The food was really restaurant quality in F, both CX and QF.

An FYI on the ANA plane, that is one of their 777-300. The 787 only has 4 doors and its engine looks like someone took pinking shears to the back of it.
I can guarantee your Mrs will be in heaven. PS Thanks for your correction re aircraft. I got so excited when I saw it (I was on the opposite side of the plane directing Russ to snap some shots... the rego was JA789A and this confused me... oops!!)

Luckily Russ's illness didn't last long (typical of food poisoning) so that was good. CX food is awesome

Those seats on CX looked amazing, but i suppose with only 9 seats in F they can be huge.
My husband and I flew in Feb to OZ on QF A380 for the F time in F, and what an amazing experience, the crew were great nothing was an effort for them, and the food was great, the cc member when taking our order prior to landing in SIN suggested we had champagne with breakfast, what a great idea, and it did go down well. On the way back we had the experience of doing the tasting menu which was a great novelty.
We are hooked on QF, although we are doing the OZ trip in April on a 2-4-1 F with BA, but we have promised ourselves in 2013 it will be back on the A380Thanks again for a great TR, and whilst seeing all those photos of the food made me extremely hungry and they looked very appertising.^
I'll pass on your comments to Russ... but to be fair, alot of those pics are mine too..

A380 is my favourite aircraft. I've been lucky enough to travel quite a few times on them, and I've loved every flight.
