Have some questions for you experts.

SQ62 Singapore - IAH via DME.

From what I have read, it seems you have to get down at DME and clear security and reboard. Is that right?any issues here? things to pay special attention?
Yes you have to disembark and clear security before re-boarding. Make sure they put ALL loose items (watches, coins, wallets jewellery etc) they can into their carry on bags prior to security screening. Unlike most international airports the conveyor belt for the x-ray screening table in DME is VERY short. So only 1 person can stand at the end to receive their bags from the xray. This often results in a massive delay and I have seen tubs with loose items coming through the xray machine on the other end and drop on the floor whilst their owners are still being screened!

The security screeners are VERY unfriendly and unhelpful so the more items you can fit in your carry on the easier it will be to clear.
