I've stayed at the Jibaran Puri Bali recently and enjoyed the relatively small scale of the property and the fact that it was essentially in the middle of the stretch of beach.
The breakfasts there were excellent. The primary dishes were all made to order from the kitchen with plenty of additional options via buffet. An interesting option in the buffet area was a daily selection of house smoked fish with local items such as barracuda, etc.
