Hi All,
I started a thread over
here regarding a special trip my new wife and I will be taking to the Dominican Republic - yup, its our honeymoon. She is not much of a flyer, while I travel for business all the time. This, plus the fact that it's our honeymoon definitely called for first class seats - or what Continental terms "International Business Class". I learned in the other thread that this is pretty much Domestic First class on an international route. I've never flown this route before, and was wondering what to expect from "International Business Class" as far as seating and service on Continental. It was suggested that I post something over here as well to see if anyone has any other input.
We will be flying from EWR to PUJ for this leg of our trip. Anyone flown this route before on CO? We will be on a Boeing 737-800. Anyone know if we can expect to have personal IFE screens or are we going to be stuck with the tiny overhead monitors? I looked at the CO website, and it looks like all 737-800's should have personal IFE's bu 2012 and about 91 of the 121 planes have it already. Just wondering if it is likely to be on this route.
Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
- TT
