PPS and *G have access to Virgin Australia and V-Australia Lounges
^^Just read in the 'news' section on the SQ website:

From 01 August 2011 , PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold members will be able to access Virgin Australia Lounge even when travelling in Economy Class on a flight operated by Singapore Airlines/Virgin Australia/V Australia.

In addition, each member can invite one guest to enjoy the privilege if the guest holds a valid same-day boarding pass for a Singapore Airlines/Virgin Australia/V Australia flight.

To access the Virgin Australia Lounge, please present a valid PPS Club or KrisFlyer Elite Gold membership card and a valid same-day boarding pass for your flight on Singapore Airlines/Virgin Australia /V Australia.^^

-Has anyone availed of this as yet domestically in Australia or Internationally? Planning to fly V-Australia in January 2012 to LAX so I wonder if anyone has successfully been able to use the LAX AA Boardroom on a V-Australia ticket using a *G card?
