I have another question you may be able to answer. My daughter will be flying YOW/YUL/LAX all on Air Canada. Does it cover all legs of the trip. For example, if she makes it to Montreal and there is a delay would she be covered even though she started her trip in Ottawa? She will have a cell phone and credit card, but since I will pay for her fare on my credit card; how will I claim any expenses if the is no voucher issued? Anyway, any help you can provide would be much appreciated. Thanks again.
My flight was a simple A to B. My guess is that it should be covered all the way from YOW to LAX if it is booked as a through flight on AC.com and you purchase OMW as one of the options.
Maybe an AC company representative can clarify.
Your daughter must call the special OMW telephone no. and not the regular AC reservation no. in case of a flight disruption. She does not need to contact any AC ground agent unless so instructed by the OMW desk. It's even better than having SE status in such a situation.
