Forgive the ignorance but is it possible to earn a RTW trip with American Airlines FF miles? If so, how many miles are needed? Is there a website that explains it in detail?

If not, what is all your opinion on the best usage of miles to hit as many international destinations as possible on one award? I know about stop overs and open jaw on 2 cities. Is it possible to use more miles and hit more cities? Thanks in advance.
