There is a special procedure when booking an award ticket on AA miles that originates in the Philippines, The ticket has to be issued in the Philippines there is a huge procedure for it, not pretty if you are in the provinces but i managed it.

however i can book an award ticket on the continental website originating in Manila, they take my credit card on the website and everything looks fine. Why does one airline have a problem with the regulations and another one does not? Anyone have any problems on Micronesia with a ticket originating in Manila booked via the USA?
