This would have been my first thought. I had a forgotten Q3 that was set to expire and had to be in London anyway, so I "spent" it at the London Hilton on Park Lane. The only bookable rate was showing at 650£. Room was small but nice (I was by myself so it did not matter), service was very attentive, and lounge was very nice.
