You probably get the best ratio using your points for special events, last-minute bookings and resort stays during high season but I still would like to make a list of the most expensive properties sorted by average yearly rates and find out which hotel/resort from the Hilton family offers (theoretically) the best bang for the buck.
- The minimum average nightly rate should be at least 300$
- Feel free to correct/adjust the estimated rates previously posted by others
- Price fluctuations because of exhibitions, events, conferences, fairs and holidays (like NYE) shouldn't be considered
- VIP and GLON on the other side should be considered because it is a standard benefit available to most members here (important especially for WA properties)
I will start the list with just a few properties I've in mind right now.
(curious if a property cat 6 or lower makes the cut)
- Beach House Maldives, A Waldorf Astoria Resort 600$-800$/1000$-1200$
- Conrad Maldives Rangali Island 600$-800$/1000$-1200$
- Conrad Tokyo 500$-600$
- Conrad Hong Kong 450$-550$
- Hilton Transcorp Abuja 400$-500$
- Hilton Arc de Triomphe Paris 350$-450$
