There could be more to the story but given WN is reaching out I would say their prob isn't or they'd at least defend themselves. I'm certain if I were addressed by a FA over my dress "style" (which sure as hell wouldn't be saggy pants but nonetheless) if it wasn't inappropriate I'd get pretty ticked off and snippy too (albeit maybe not drop an F bomb).

Based on the facts written the FA went asking for trouble and found it and should've kept her yap shut in the first place.
It is PR 101 in this situation to reach out and apologize for any inconvenience. etc.etc., because public fights with customers are no-win deals for the company. You do whatever it takes to put something like this in the past tense, so, no, it is not any kind of guilt admission.

But for all we know, the FA wasn't just acting on her own. I remember a couple years ago when the Hooters waitress in SAN was taken off a flight for her attire (or pronounced lack of it), it came after several other passengers complained. For all I know, that happened here.

But in a larger sense, people like to whine and moan about flying and blame the airlines for everything. While they should substantial blame, the quality of passengers has gone down, too. For some, the idea of showing some restraint and social manners because you are crammed in close quarters with 100+ strangers selected at random means nothing compared to me-me-me.

So an FA "went asking for trouble" merely by asking someone to pull their pants? Absolutely; what a horrendous act of oppression! What does it matter that other passengers get treated to an obscentiy-laced response, when the right to wear saggy pants is at stake.

I just hope I miss the flights with people who get "ticked off and snippy" about something as trivial as this. And if I am on that flight, I hope they get booted, too.
