A Green Day singer probably doesn't watch American Idol, but may he needs to?

One of the most famous Idol auiditions of all time was a guy a couple years ago who had written, and performed, a song that went:

"Pants on the ground, pants on the ground, you look like a fool with your pants on the ground."

Maybe Southwest needs to license that song?
