We might as well do away with FT if this is a typical answer. If you're Platinum - what does it do for you?
FYI, there will be no CO or OnePass come Jan 1, 2012. UA/CO have already merged over a year ago, and their FF programs will finally be integrated by Jan 1, 2012.
Do you realize the airline is now called Continental United?@:-)
Yup - I know. Only answer I don't have is what will happen to the Chase Sapphire partner program.
Dont you think you are a bit too nosy? Not everyone likes to launder his/her personal finance linen on an internet forum - whether it is true or fictional.
Messages aren't useful IMO unless they have a context.
I don't think anyone here learns anything without knowing who's on first and who's on second. For example - someone who flies hundreds of thousands of miles a year is in one place - and someone who flies less than than 10k miles a year is in an alternate universe. Ditto when it comes to things like spending on credit cards.
A lot of my messages here are in the luxury hotel forum. If anyone reads my messages there - it is no secret that that I usually spend five figures or so on hotels every year. Just like it is no secret that our very frequent flyers here (I'm not one of them) spend more - sometimes a whole lot more - on air travel. To get the best out of available travel programs - you have to know how you spend on travel - and get advice from knowledgeable people who travel like you do. Robyn
