I don't think it could hurt to try - worst case, they see the other hard pulls. I recently applied for several cards on the same day, including cards from Chase (2 cards), Amex (2 cards) and Barclays. I had all the apps open in the same browse with separate tabs, filled out all the forms, and then quickly submitted them all at the same time. I did notice that if you try it with multiple Chase or Amex cards (can't remember which) when you click on the "Verify Info" button (which gets you to the page where you Submit the app) it would see the app from the other tab and switch the application, so I had to do the 2nd Chase and Amex apps separately a few minutes later. I was approved for all of them.
