Italian Strike Tuesday 6th September
I am off to Milan for a meeting on Monday, then off to Hong Kong on Tuesday via LHR.
Looks like there is a strike on and from looking at expert flyer my flight has been removed. Also by looking at ba.com my flight cannot be booked, does this mean that it has been cancelled? I am on the 12.00 departure from MXP.
When I turn up at T5 on Monday should I ask what the situation is?
My meeting should be quite short so probably could catch the late flight out of Malpensa on Monday night then overnight in London before my flight to Hkg on Tuesday, would this be an option?
Would BA allow me to fly direct from London to hkg if I cancelled my meeting?
The flights are on different PNR's BTW as I am going back to Milan after my trip, we have a large client in the Milan area and I am doing some work in hkg for them, so will need to get back there after my Hong Kong trip.
Should I call the Gold line or have a chat at LHR on Monday to see what the story is...?
Worst case I guess is that I get to Hong Kong a day late.
