This cracked me up... of course I consider myself a "points guy" too and I'd never had an AMEX charge card before this year either. I actually wondered why The Points Guy had not had the BA or AA cards before.

Maybe it was a hotel in Tokyo? Normal folk like me don't get comp'd for anything (although we may get a nice break on a travel booking if we're a good customer).
