I used this link yesterday to refer two friends, who both applied for the Alaska card. However, instead of submitting an on-line application (and getting thge 25,000-mile bonus), they used the 1-800 number to get the 40,000-mile bonus (see other thread).

Is there any hope of my receiving the 7,500-mile referral bonuses for these two referrals? What do I need to do to get the bonus? Is this an issue I raise with Alaska, or with BankAmerica?

Does anyone have any experience with this issue from past promotions?
