First, I'd see if the airline regulatory authority would deal with the matter or at least try to get answers for the OP from the carrier. Only once repeated efforts at such fail to produce a satisfactory response would I consider further action -- and then if and only if I had damages to claim as a result of the denied boarding.
. . .and those damages are of the amount to risk the costs of the lawyer if you should lose, something I would very much doubt.
