Just for fun I did a little survey amongst my current colleagues at EADS. The sample size was about 60 and varied between men and women, technical and non-technical of all ages.

The question I put to them was: "What do you associate with AVIOS?"

A whopping 28 responded that they thought it was an aviation service company like Menzies, probably in South America.
12 believed it was a South American airline... (surprisingly)
10 believed it had something to do with airline catering
9 had various answers that in some fashion all related to Spain or South America
1 person knew the correct answer.

I did group the answers for easy analysis. I thought about grouping catering and service together but there was a clear distinction. Service companies also include around 8 people who believed it is a fuel company.
