The "proof" right now that things are going to get more expensive is as follows:

1. The single partner award chart has is going away.

It's like saying "that thing you really like is going away but we're not telling what we're going to replace it with."

This all could have been avoided if BA had announced the replacement values of the single partner award chart at the same time they announced its demise.
