They will have had some sort of contract/agreement on price of the miles, and forecast of how many miles they would dole out. It is a business arrangement, and Chase/AMEX used it to market their credit cards. Why should they bother if BA have decided to alter their terms, and does not affect the business agreement between the organisations?


And BA should not come into the US and peddle their soon to be worthless miles on US Card Members who more than likely will want to fly from the US on partners?
