Yes, you would think someone at Boeing or another IFE vendor would certify some new (LCD screens being what, 15 years old now) LCD screens that would replace the old CRT's. Truer color, more consistent brightness, mostly decent viewing angles, much much lighter (probably save enough weight for at least 3 more carry-ons), and could even be made to flip up so tall passengers don't have to do the duck-step to avoid bonking their heads!
If the 757 is going to get cabin makeovers, the CRT's need to change.
Aside from that, can they reposition the 757PS power plugs so you don't have to be a contortionist to plug them in, never mind that they're down so far you can't see which way they're oriented?
And the little spring loaded pin that needs to be depressed to get it working, well, the spring is so strong, that my iPhone charger with two regular plug prongs won't hold in the socket tight enough, and gets pushed out by the pin.
