My apologies if this seems like an already addressed question, but my situation doesn't look quite like others posted here. Basically I hit 75k combined EQM a month ago between my long-ago linked accounts, but no CR1s have appeared. Today a nice and seemingly-knowledgeable agent at the 1K C/S Center explained that the EQMs are only being combined for status purposes at this time.

This means that a Gold or Premier Executive can reach Platinum immediately through the regular sweeps and will get the two CR1s that go with that level, but a 1K like me will have to wait until maybe the end of the year. In fact, she felt that we couldn't even be certain that I'd ever get these CR1s until the final program details are announced later this much. Note that I had to re-qualify for 1K via the challenge this year, which unfortunately prevents me from getting the quarterly upgrades anymore, making these two particularly valuable to me.

Did anyone else who was already 1K manage to get the two CR1s through 75K combined activity (not on MP alone)? Any other reason to doubt the accuracy of the agent's (annoying) information? If I had known, I would have credited more flights to UA!
